Software Helps Manage FBOs

Logic, a software and
engineering company, today announced FBO
Manager, a new Windows-based
business software package developed to help FBOs
manage day-to-day activities. Example modules
include point of sale, inventory, work orders,
fuel, pilot, and aircraft data tracking. FBO
Manager can import and export data directly to
the popular QuickBooks
accounting package to provide general ledger
functions, payroll, and financial reporting.
FBO Manager easily reports leaseback
information, customer balances, and sales data.
Pilot reports include BFRs and medicals due in
addition to other currency requirements. Aircraft
reports show equipment, insurance, aircraft
nearing maintenance and hours flown each year.
FBO Manager also includes routines to access
other file formats.

and Professional Engineer who developed FBO
Manager,
"A bookkeeper at my local FBO
gave me the idea for FBO Manager after she saw
AeroClub Manager, the software I had developed
for flying clubs. She wanted an easy-to-use
Windows program instead of the pen and paper she
had been using. I was surprised to discover that
the only software available to FBOs at the time
was old DOS and AS/400 packages. With a lot of
user input during development I think we have
created a great package for FBOs of all
sizes."
